C-URGE Mid-Term Event Video
A Collaborative Visual Recording Approach at University of Catania

The video production process was intentionally collaborative and adaptive, emphasizing active participant involvement. Interviews were strategically scheduled to maximize efficiency while ensuring that each voice was authentically represented. Visual and audio materials were
gathered not as passive recordings but as moments of co-creation, allowing participants to
shape the narrative collectively. Additionally, we enriched these videos by incorporating archival and field-collected visual content—such as photographs and short clips—to add layers of meaning, emotional resonance, and contextual depth. This approach aligns with the project’s broader commitment to ecological imagination and shared authorship.
