TIME TO TALK:URGING CLIMATE SCIENCE AND COMMUNICATION C-URGE final event

The C-URGE consortium will gather in Halle (Saale), Germany, 14–18 September 2026, for its final project event, bringing together researchers, doctoral candidates, and invited experts to reflect on three years of collaborative research on climate urgency. Across five days, participants will engage in public lectures, thematic roundtables, methodological workshops, policy discussions, and training sessions exploring the theoretical, methodological, and societal contributions of the project. The programme will also create opportunities to present research findings back to field partners, discuss future career pathways, and develop strategies for extending the impact of C-URGE beyond the project's lifetime. The week will conclude with a public "Talking Science" event, where doctoral candidates will present their work in accessible and engaging formats. Together, these activities celebrate the project's achievements while looking ahead to the future of anthropological research on climate urgency.
